Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why does the cool products page take so long to load?! And why not several pages?
That's probably because you are accessing the Internet on a dialup connection.  The disadvantage is that indeed it can take quite a while, but the advantage is that once it's done you can see ALL the products on one page, without having to switch between several windows, etc. (We can't please everyone, but we sure try!) All you have to do is use your mouse to scroll up and down the page and then use right-click on an item and select "open in another window" to see a larger representation of it.

  2. Several of us at my studio would like to order posters together so that the shipping costs us less. Would that be OK?
Absolutely! As long as the order goes to one address only there is no problem with that. You can get larger discounts that way too.

  3. I absolutely LOVE poster 231, I'm ordering three of those one for our lobby and one for each tap studio at my dance school. Next to the poster it says that it has some shoes used to break the world tap dance speed record, can you tell me who they belong to?
They belong to Chris Baker, Director of this company.

  4. Is it possible to order some of your posters in much larger sizes? How do I do that?
Certainly. To inquire about a custom order, simply send an email (main staff address) with the item #, roughly the size of the posters you'd like and how many of each. The main office will get a quote from the Printing Company and email that back to you, along with the approximate time frame. Please note that all such quotes include the cost of special packaging that protects those large size posters during shipping.

  5. Did it really take you that many years to produce that Tap Dance Legends poster with all the dates? How is that possible?
CAN IT POSSIBLY TAKE 15 YEARS TO MAKE A POSTER? It sure can if and when you are as ethical and fact-oriented as our research team is. When there were little or no written records available, some of the birth and death dates of these master tappers required tremendous amounts of travel, interviews, fact-checking, etc. Some of that info was incredibly difficult to come by. Yes, the TAP LEGENDS educational poster (#EPH-101) did require that many years of research but it we think it was well-worth the effort indeed. So do the many, many tappers who have been ordering it all over the world!
